December 2014 Gel Nails Picture of the Month
It was coming up to Christmas, I just knew I had to have something with glitter and sparkles. It took me weeks to think of what design would be on each nail. As my appointment approach on the 11th of December, I decided to have a present bow on my index finger, gold glitter and gems on my thumb and ring finger, snowflakes on my middle finger and finally a bow on my pinky finger. I had a black background on the designs, I don't usually go for dark colours so I think that't why I went with this, plus it complimented the gold beautifully.
January 2015 Gel Nails Picture of the Month
To start this year off with a bang I opted to have a bright pink colour for January, its heading towards Spring which means red, pink, oranges and greens are going to be the colours to have. As you may already know I stick to Gel nails which has allowed my natural nails to grow. I have been a little boring with my nails this time round compared to normal, naturally my beautician Maggie was disappointed to hear when I went last week. The trend for 2015 this year quoted by vogue is the natural look. I had a rounded shape for my nails which I have found so easy to be able to do everything with, like doing your buttons on your shirt or picking up your credit card off the floor when you dropped it!
February Gel Nail Picture of the Month
I decided to go for gel nails as I find these last at least 3 weeks and have the best finish. Short and pointed was the style I wanted as it emphasises the love heart on my third and fourth nail. To combine my two ideas I had the soft peach colour as it sets off your tan. The darker shade to create the love heart and the gold line to outline. As you can tell I am a little crazy and obsessed with my nails, everyone always tells me. I couldn't really tell you how it all started, taking a guess its down my last job. At my old job I wasn't able to wear nail varnish so I guess this last year now being in a new job has allowed me to go a little mad.
